SHORT.bid provides a URL shortening service that allows users to:

  • Create shortened links from long URLs
  • Track click analytics and visitor statistics for their links
  • Manage links via a dashboard or API
  • Access premium features through paid subscription plans

3. Account Registration

To access the dashboard and manage links, you must sign in with a valid Google account. By signing in, you authorize SHORT.bid to access your Google email address for authentication purposes. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SHORT.bid to shorten or distribute links to:

  • Malware, phishing pages, or any malicious content
  • Illegal content, including content that violates copyright or intellectual property laws
  • Spam or unsolicited communications
  • Content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or harassing
  • Adult content without proper age verification
  • Any content that violates applicable local, national, or international law

We reserve the right to remove any link and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

SHORT.bid offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

6. API Usage

If you use the SHORT.bid API, you agree to:

  • Keep your API key secure and not share it publicly
  • Use the API in accordance with these Terms of Service
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload our infrastructure
  • Comply with any rate limits imposed by the service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and technology associated with SHORT.bid are the property of SHORT.bid or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our express written consent.

You retain ownership of the URLs and content you submit. By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your URLs solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Link Availability

We do not guarantee that shortened links will remain active indefinitely. SHORT.bid reserves the right to:

  • Remove links that violate these Terms at any time
  • Deactivate links from accounts that are suspended or deleted
  • Modify the service structure, including link formats, at any time with reasonable notice

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SHORT.bid is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for the content of URLs submitted by users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SHORT.bid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the date of the latest update at the top of this page.
