Creating Your First Short Link

Creating a short link is easy:

1. Paste your long URL in the input box on the homepage
2. Click "Shorter" button
3. Copy your new short link
4. Share it anywhere!

Creating an Account

Registration is free and takes less than a minute:

1. Go to Register Page
2. Enter your email and password
3. Check your email for activation link
4. Click the activation link
5. Start creating and managing links!

Custom Branded Links (Premium)

Create memorable short links with your own custom text:

• Example: https://short.bid/my-product instead of https://short.bid/123
• Only available for Premium users
• Must be 3-50 characters (letters, numbers, hyphens, underscores)
• First-come, first-served - if it's taken, choose another

Link Analytics

Track performance of your links:

• Free: Total clicks, basic click data
• Premium: Advanced charts, geographic data, device info, referrer sources
• All data updates in real-time
• Export to CSV (Premium only)

Control how your links behave:

• No-Referer: Hide referer information when redirecting (privacy protection)
• POST Method: Use POST redirects instead of GET

Managing Your Subscription

Control your subscription from the billing dashboard:

• Go to your Billing page in the dashboard
• Click "Manage Billing" to open Stripe Customer Portal
• Update payment method, cancel subscription, view invoices
• Changes take effect immediately
